The cooking practice for CKD in Shiga on July 29 was successful with wide popularity. Most of the participants who were going to start diet therapy from now answered a quastionnair that they would be able to eat starch rice everyday if needed after trying starch rice. Starch rice was so delicious if cooking appropriately!

Cooking Club "Healthy Plus" were held (2012.06.12)
Many of the participants joining the cooking club for the first time were somewhat fresh with a little bit tension than the usual club members. By the time meals were ready, however, the participants were harmonious and talked each other with laughing like friends for a long time. In the next club on July 6, we will make starch bread as many requests from the patients. See you on July 6.

A Seminar Successful on Homecoming Day of Odawara High School
May 20, a beautiful fine day, the President of the NPO made a seminar on "diet and early detection of kidney disease". While seated in a chair desk, school days after a long time were fondly remembered. The lecture was held with full of audience, who realized the importance of early detection of "a silent killer", kidney disease. Detail example explained by the patients coming with the president won the popularity because of easy for the audience to understand. Many thanks to who came on the venue and the volunteers supporting the seminar!

Clinical Nutrition Research Meeting in Fukuoka (2012.05.15)
Dr. Ideura will come to Fukuoka Meeting for the first time in two years on Saturday August 18. Highly excited about the hot lecture by the professor.

Study Session to Start Diet for Kidney Disease Was Held.
Study session was held in Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture on April 22. Twenty people who participated the meeting for the first time learned the basics of how to use starch products and that the starch goods will make it possible to cook richer menu fitting on the dinner. It was a fruitful meeting followed by afternoon lectures of a registered dietitian and a climax of free conversation from the standpoint of each member.
